How long does it take?
Most books are ready about ten minutes after payment. You can watch it being made, or close the page — it will be waiting on your Bookshelf.
What exactly do I get?
The Bedtime Book ($9) has 10 illustrated story pages plus a cover. The Keepsake Gift Book ($15) has 14 pages, a dedication page and a printable gift card. Both come as a printable PDF, a read-aloud MP3, and an on-screen reader with page-by-page narration.
Is it a printed, posted book?
Not from us — Moonpenny is digital so it can be ready tonight. The PDF prints well at home or at any print shop; many families print it and staple or ribbon-bind it.
Will the pictures look like my child?
Tell us their hair colour and style, skin tone and whether they wear glasses, and every illustration follows that description. It is an illustrated character inspired by them, not a portrait — we never ask for photos.
What do you do with my child's name?
We use it to make their book, and that's all. It is not shared, sold, or used to train anything. You can delete any book, with its pictures and audio, from its page on your Bookshelf. Books are private to your account unless you share the gift link.
Can I change something after it's made?
Each book is written and painted fresh, so it is made once per purchase. If something came out wrong — a spelling, a picture that doesn't fit — reply to your receipt or write to us and we'll put it right.
Who is the story suitable for?
Children aged 2 to 8. We pitch the vocabulary and length to the age you give, keep every story calm and gentle, and always end on a sleepy, safe note.
