How the story handles it
The child is starting school or nursery. Walk through the day gently: saying goodbye, finding their peg, making a friend, story time, being collected. Emphasise that grown-ups always come back. Calm and reassuring.
What makes it theirs
Your child is the hero, by name, on every page — with their favourite animal beside them, drawn to look like them if you tell us how, and with any little details you add: a sibling, a pet, a favourite blanket. Every book is written fresh; no two are the same.
